The Adamovic FBC bass

              


We designed these instruments togheter with Nikola Adamovic in order to create concept basses of the highest standards, with incredible tone, playability, construction and brilliant looks at a great price.

There are two models to choose from, the Solo and the Deep either in 4, 5 or 6 string.
Prices start at around 3500 euro's inluding tax (dutch)

The instruments are handmade and setup in our own shop.

We have created two configurations of these basses which we believe to be the best working versions, but of course you're more than welcome to change anything you like from our extensive option list and create your own dream instrument.

The FBC Solo,

is designed to make use of a smaller 33" scale and 26 frets. Pickup placement is slightly off centre towards the bridge providing you with lots of tonal possibilities but always remaining clear and vocal.
The electronics are designed by German company Glockenklang and has the same output in active or passive mode. The pickups are Adamovic/Hauessel design.
Controls are 3 way switch per pickup, active/passive push/pull, volume - blend - treble - midrange - bass.
The 2 dual coils sit within a custom  adjustable wooden playing ramp.
This bass packs loads of punch and fast articulation which is extremely suited for solo style playing while maintaining a rock solid low-end for groove playing.






The FBC Deep,

has a thick chambered body, a large 36" scale and is completely passive. Constructed out of a two piece Padouk body with a Wenge core. The pickup placement is more centred giving you loads of deep piano like bass and presence without getting muddy. Again the two Adamovic/Heaussel dual coils sit in a adjustable wooden playing ramp.  
The controls, pickups and output jack are tested and wired with the best quality wire that we could find.
Controls are 3 way switch per pickup volume and blend with extra large wooden knobs.









Options on both basses include fretted/fretless custom scale length at no extra cost.
